IMITATE the Way of Christ: Worship

Our heart’s pursuit will determine our heart’s formation.  2 Cor. 3:18, Ps. 27:4, Ps. 132:3-9

Worship tunes our will to God’s will. Rev. 4:2-11

God desires worshipers with humbled and surrendered hearts. 2 Sam. 6:16,20-23

David’s Worship:

was God-centered

was done in humility

was always growing deeper

Praise enthrones God and hosts His presence. Ps. 22:3, Eph. 5:18-20,

1 Chron. 16:7-36

When we sing praise, we evangelize ourselves and others.    

Worship shifts our focus off our circumstances and onto God’s promises.

Worship restores our heart to the Lord!
