Simeon, Anna, and other faithful Jews were waiting for the consolation of Israel.

Consolation: the comfort received by a person or group after a loss or disappointment.  Luke 1:65-66

Simeon modeled a relationship with God that we can have today through the Holy Spirit. Romans 12:1-2, John 14:21

Manifest: to make clear or obvious to the eye or mind.

1 Corinthians 2:9-12 

Anna learned, that in the middle of life's biggest trials, God is still good.

Anna and Simeon modeled for us how to wait on the faithfulness and consolation of God.
