Who is Jesus?: Luke 4:1-13

Luke 4:1-13

Jesus was led by the Holy Spirit into the wilderness to defeat the devil.

John 12:31, 1 John 3:8 

Jesus was tempted or tested as a man.

James 1:13, Hebrews 4:15

The devil used all the human senses to entice Jesus to sin.

Jesus met temptation with the word of God. Deuteronomy 8:3, 6:13, 16.

Jesus physically, mentally, and spiritually defeated the devil throughout His ministry.

Jesus is the perfect example of James 4:7.

Jesus’ disciples have the same weapons that He used to defeat the devil in their daily lives.
