1 Corinthians 13
The Corinthians were not treating each other lovingly.

The Corinthians had schisms or divisions among them.
1 Corinthians 1:10-13, 3:1-7

The Corinthians were seeking spiritual gifts and neglecting the love of Christ that should motivate and regulate Christians.

Without love Christians are nothing and they gain nothing. Matthew 7:21-23

Love is described in 1 Corinthians 13:4-7.

A church that loves bears eternal fruit.
Luke 9:54, 1 John 2:12

A church that loves is mature.

A church that loves has the identity of Jesus Christ.

A church that loves will not fail.
